Claf and husband have moved back to her old stomping grounds in New Hampshire. Her new e-mail address is kurtce@verizon.net. Fund chair Natalie Jones Neri praises Mary Lyman Heist and Judy McEndy Lynch for the good job they are doing in support of Skidmore’s annual fund. Last spring Til and husband Gene celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a month on Maui, Hawaii. All five of their children joined them for a week (their spouses stayed home to care for the grandkids); the Neri siblings had a great time catching up. Til and family enjoyed whales performing right off their deck, spectacular sunsets, rainbows, and adventures on the island as well as in boats. Jean Cranse Larsen was planning to see Dorothy Brun Spender in Punta Gorda, FL, while taking the auto-train to Naples, FL, earlier this year when a friend of Dotty’s husband let her know that Dotty had passed away. Jean remarked that she thought of her as a great gal, and it was a pleasure to have known her. Jacqueline Bailey Martin saw Mary Caskey Avery at a Friends of the Presidents reception for Skidmore President Phil Glotzbach earlier this year. Last winter Jackie and her husband went to Tahiti and the Polynesian Islands. Jo Freedman has been a legislative representative for AARP for the past eight years, serving as a member of the AARP National Legislative Council in Washington since 2000. Jo recently retired after 27 years as infection-control practitioner at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Patsy Lanpher Compton and Bill enjoyed three days at the La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club in California to celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary. Patsy and daughter Ellie played doubles tennis with 87-year-old friend Dodo Cheney, who she later saw being inducted into the Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, RI. Priscilla Greene Taylor says she’s grateful that “I completed my mission of having both knees replaced. Who knows what will be next?” In May, I took a Celebrity cruise to Bermuda, but not for the adventure. The Williams College Reunion Jazz Band was the draw. Four years ago I took a trip on the Delta Queen with them and ran into Jack and Dianne Snow Brennan. I was hoping they would be on this trip to Bermuda, but was disappointed. My late husband was a Williams man, so when I travel, it is usually with a group from there.
