Ann says Margie had an inspirational approach to life to the end and was “a leading light” in her community. After she was diagnosed, Margery fell in love and married Rich Schlafer. She passed away while planning her daughter’s wedding. She remained close with all her friends throughout the years. Ann notes, “I feel like I lost my sister. I was honored to be a part of her life.” |
