Saratoga Resident to Share Experience of Living in Malawi

December 7, 2006

What's the connection between Skidmore College and a health clinic in Malawi, Africa? On Monday, Dec. 4, Saratoga resident Dan Sansone will explain in a talk scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in Gannett Auditorium, Palamountain Hall.

Through chance or fate, Sansone became involved with the effort to build a greatly needed health clinic on the shores of Lake Malawi, located in one of the most impoverished countries in the world. There, he became acquainted with Liston, the student whom Benef-Action and the Skidmore community now support. During his talk on Monday, Sansone will share his inspirational story and explain how others can support these projects

Free and open to the public, the lecture is sponsored by Benef-Action and the Speaker's Bureau.
