Mellon series of alumni panel talks continues with focus on philosophy
Living the Liberal Arts, an ongoing series of panel discussions featuring Skidmore alumni and faculty, is
designed to help students learn more about the links between their college majors
and post-graduate professional and/or educational opportunities.
Launched last year with support from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the series
continues Wednesday, Nov. 8, with a panel discussion titled "Life During and After
Majoring in Religion." Panelists include Dubois Jennings '06, Oren Kroll-Zeldin '03,
Lisa Kingston '05, Emily Neilsen '03, and Elsa Peters '01. The event gets under way
at 5:30 p.m. in the Faculty-Staff Club. Refreshments will be served.
Alumni, current students, and faculty participate in the panel discussions, which
are open to all interested students. Refreshments are available at each session.
The Nov. 8 panel is the last of the series this fall.
