A tradition continues?annual senior art majors exhibition at the Tang

Skidmore's annual studio art major Senior Thesis Exhibition is scheduled May 11-19 at the Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery. An opening reception is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. The Department of Art and Art History is sponsoring the exhibition.

A total of 53 senior studio art majors will display their work as a capstone to their studies at Skidmore. The department provides courses in numerous studio art disciplines including the following: ceramics, communication design, computer imaging, drawing, fibers, metalsmithing, jewelry, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture, among others.

The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public. Hours at the Tang are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, until 9 p.m. Thursday, and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, May 19, the exhibition will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
