Tang Museum Launches New Season of Rooftop Music

The ever-popular summer music program is back at the Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery on the Skidmore campus.   Upbeat on the Roof features local artists playing anything from jazz to folk to swing. This summer, join us on Friday nights at 7 p.m. on the roof of the Tang, free admission, for an evening of music and local flavor.

The series opens Friday, June 22, with Kevin McKrell, a native of Brooklyn, N.Y., and lead singer and songwriter of The McKrells.   McKrell combines traditional Celtic folk music with bluegrass to create a sound all his own.   Below is the “Rooftop” schedule for summer 2007.
