In 2006?2007, the UWW Committee held 11 meetings, including one business meeting (where the Committee approved the 2006-07 Operating Code and discussed revising the Mission Statement).

The Committee reviewed 41 degree plans and one re-submitted final project description. The Committee recommended to the Faculty that 26 students receive the Bachelor of Arts degree and 23 students receive the Bachelor of Science degree. The Committee dealt with an honor code violation and one violation of the College code of conduct.

The Committee approved 33 UWW online courses. Eleven courses were offered in Fall 2006 and Spring 2007. Nine courses were approved for Summer 2007.

The Committee approved a proposal from the UWW staff that all UWW students who enrolled since February 16, 2007 must now complete a minimum of 12 credits of Skidmore work, 2 courses plus their final project.

Dean of Special Programs Paula Newburg resigned in October, 2006. The Committee welcomed Jeff Segrave as Interim Dean of Special Programs in January, 2007. Dean Segrave requested that a policies and procedures document for UWW Committee operation be developed in the coming year.

The members of the UWW Committee members met with the External Review Team (Jim Hall and Mayra Bloom) on April 23, 2007.

Ken Klotz retired April 27, 2007. Jim Kennelly will be the Interim Director of UWW as of August 27, 2007?May 31, 2008. Meanwhile, Chris Whann was appointed to serve as Acting Director for the summer.
