Fall concert to feature Soulive and RJD2 September 28

The Student Entertainment Company will present the fall semester concert featuring Soulive and RJD2 on Friday, September 28 at the Sports and Recreation Center.

Soulive, the New York-based quartet, recently released their sixth studio album, No Place Like Soul, to rave reviews. Their unique blend of funk, soul, hip-hop and more has led them to collaborate with such big names as Talib Kweli and Dave Matthews throughout their eight-year career.

RJD2 released his third studio album, The Third Hand, in March, instantly catapulting him to critical acclaim. Though classified as "indie," RJ wastes no time in efficiently blurring the line and adding his own hip-hop and electronica-based beats and frenzied pop vocals to the mix.

Tickets are $10 for Skidmore students with student ID and $15 for the general public. Tickets can be purchased at the Case Center on campus starting September 17 or at Ticketmaster starting September 1. A limited amount of tickets will also be available at the door the night of the concert. Doors will open at 8 p.m.
