David H. Porter, president emeritus and Tisch Family Distinguished Professor, is the author of The Omega Workshops and the Hogarth Press: An Artful Fugue (Cecil Woolf, London), published this fall as part of the Bloomsbury Heritage Series.

Sandy Baum, professor of economics, was one of several experts convened by the College Board to offer a sweeping set of recommendations aimed at reconfiguring the way billions of dollars are annually disbursed to U.S. college students. The group's report was widely covered, with stories in the following media:

James Kennelly, associate professor of management and business, is the author of an opinion essay titled "Innovation stems from cultural capital" published Sept 24 in The Irish Times.

Robert Shorb, associate dean and director, Student Aid and Family Finance, is a special guest panelist in the Sept. 24 issue of the Albany Times Union. The paper regularly runs a parent panel on topics of interest to families, with experts and parents providing insight. This edition of the feature, titled "College prep," contained information on how and when families should prepare for their children's education.
