David Porter, president emeritus and Tisch Family Distinguished Professor, presented ?On the Divide: Horatian Variations? Oct. 23 at Wabash College. The event marks Porter?s return to Wabash after nearly 40 years. Porter also is scheduled to play the Concord Sonata by Charles Ives on Sunday, Oct. 26, at Wabash.

Laura Finnerty Paul, lecturer, Department of Management and Business, is co-author (with Holahan, P., Mooney, A., and Mayer, R.) of ?Do debates get more heated in cyberspace? Team conflict in the virtual environment,? appearing in Current Issues in Technology Management, a publication of the Howe School Alliance for Technology Management, Vol. 12 (2), 2008.

Darryl Pinckney, writer-in-residence, Department of English, is the author of ?What?s at Stake,? in the Nov. 6, 2008 special election issue of The New York Review of Books.
