Alison Doyle,
associate director of Career Services, has written a new book,
Internet Your Way To a New Job (2008,
Happy
About).
The book aims to help the job seeker through the online job-search
process, including use of search engines and company Web sites;
creating effective electronic resumes and cover letters; using
e-mail and online application forms; networking in virtual spaces
such as LinkedIn and Facebook; and building a career. Chapters
include "Building Your Brand" and "Where to Find Jobs."
According to the publisher, "job seekers need to be prepared to use
