IT implements fix for multiple Scope Weekly mailings
Information Technology has implemented a simple fix that will prevent multiple copies of Scope Weekly from being transmitted to the "all-employees" listserv, a problem that surfaced for the first time with our February 21 issue.
To faculty and staff, it appeared as though we in
Communications were repeatedly emailing the issue. In fact, the
issue was being resent to the entire "all-employees" list each time
a recipient who?finding the issue in his or her spam
folder?approved the transmission for normal delivery.
IT's fix will prevent
Scope Weekly from being labelled spam in the first place.
