Award
Doretta Miller, Robert Davidson Professor of Art,
was awarded grants from the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council and
the Puffin Foundation to support the exhibition "Beijing NOW: Oil
Paintings by Twelve Chinese Artists," on view at First Street
Gallery, 536 West 26th St., New York City, through March 1. A
bilingual catalogue accompanies the exhibition, with Mandarin
translations by Visiting Professor Lingyi Hu, Department of Foreign
Languages and Literatures.
Exhibition
Deb Hall, associate professor of art, will
participate in "Der Zeitgenosse: A National Exhibition of
Contemporary Art" Feb. 28-April 3 at the Eastern Washington
University Gallery of Art.
