'Zeitgeist' to be screened Monday, Thursday

Zeitgeist imageZeitgeist: The Movie will be shown at 7 p.m. Monday, March 3, and again on Thursday March 6 in the Spa. The event is open to the public and there is no admission fee. The film will be shown on the news feed from the Zeitgeist Web site.

Zeitgeist is currently the most-watched feature-length documentary in Internet history, with a total views averaging around 70,000 daily, or 2.1 million per month. It is being shown at more than 400 venues across the U.S. in March, and has been shown in many countries around the world.

Produced by Peter Joseph, Zeitgeist was created as a non-profit project to inspire people to start looking at the world from a more critical perspective and to understand that very often things are not what the population at large think they are. The information in Zeitgeist was collected over a yearlong period of research. The current source page lists the basic sources referenced, and the interactive transcript includes exact references and further information.

For more information, see the Zeitgeist page on the Skidmore Facebook site or the Zeitgeist Web site.
