Activities

Erica Bastress-Dukehart, assistant professor of history and director, Law and Society Program, presented a paper titled ?Imprisoned, Empowered, Engendered: The Dialectic of Sibling Relationships Within Early Modern Germany?s Princely Dynasties? at a conference on European Social Science History March 1 in Lisbon, Portugal.

Pushkala Prasad,
Zankel Professor of Management for Liberal Arts Students, gave an invited lecture titled ?Unveiling Europe?s Civilized Face: Gender Relations, New Immigrants, and the Discourse of the Veil in the Scandinavian Workplace? last fall as part of the Distinguished Research Seminar Series at Harvard Business School. The school invites just two leading scholars each year to give a research talk.

Publications

Pushkala Prasad is co-author (with A. Prasad) of the following two papers: ?Mix, Flux, and Flows: The Globalization of Culture and its Implications for Management and Organizations,? published in Journal of Global Business Issues, 1, (2007); and ?The Paradox of the Market: A Critical Exploration,? published in Business Renaissance Quarterly, Vol. 2 (2007).
