Filene Concert Series to feature Mark Delpriora

Classical guitarist Mark Delpriora will perform at Skidmore at 8 p.m. Thursday, March 27. The concert, the latest in the College?s Filene Concert Series, is open to the public. Tickets are $5, general admission, and $2 for students and senior citizens.

Winner of the Andr s Segovia Award for Outstanding Performance, guitarist and composer Delpriora is known for championing music written for that guitar legend in a project known as the Segovia Archives. Once one of the few students chosen for a master class with Segovia himself, Delpriora is co-chair of the Guitar Department at the Manhattan School of Music and a member of the guitar faculty at the Juilliard School.
