Skidmore will continue the traditional annual studio art major Senior Thesis Exhibition May 9?17 at the Frances Young Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery. An opening reception is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 9. The Department of Art and Art History is sponsoring the exhibition.
A total of 57 senior studio art majors will display their work as a capstone to their studies. The department provides courses in numerous studio art disciplines including ceramics, communication design, drawing and painting, electronic media, fiber arts, metals, photography, printmaking, and sculpture.
Students whose work will be exhibited are as follows: Ryan Basile, Nicholas Batzell, Elise Bedard, Mark Brickman, Katharine Brockway, Emily Cammisa, Blair Costello, Christopher Counihan, Chelsea Cox, Chelsea Dubick, Jessie Edelman, Brian Farris, Meredith Feir, Kenny Flores, Ivy Fuld, Nurys Garcia, Isabella Gaspich, Sarah Glasser, Nicholas Green, Lee Grimes, Karli Hendrickson, Ruth Hofheimer, Peter Janson, Emily Jones, Kate Kaunitz, Tanya Keller, Matthew Kenyon, Catharine Kniffin, Jacqueline Koustmer, Edwin Kunhardt, Alexandra Labriola, Madison Li, Audrey Mack, Erin Manning, Meredith Mowder, Dore Murphy, Colin Narver, Adrian Negenborn, Julia Neuberg, Francis O'Leary, Chloe Reison, Morgan Rougeau, Lauren Seebacher, Andrew Smith, Jared Spafford, Adam Sperling, Blair Stelle, Gabriel Stinson, Stephanie Terao, Jonathan Ugol, AnnaZofia Valenzuela, Jennifer Walker, Allison Wolf, Jamie Worrall, Anne Zahniser, Carolyn Zuaro, and Katina Zulakis.
The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public. Hours at the Tang are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, Thursday until 9 p.m., and noon to 5 p.m. weekends. On Saturday, May 17, Commencement weekend, the exhibition will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
