Golf, tennis tournament around the corner

The Friends of Skidmore Athletics Thoroughbred Cup Golf and Tennis tournament on Saturday, June 21, is just around the corner. While the golf portion of the event is sold out, we still have a few spaces on the tennis courts. If you are interested in getting on the courts for some fun, please contact Beth Brucker-Kane for details.

An outstanding group of volunteers (mostly Skidmore alumni athletes) is working on this effort, and we're grateful for all they are doing.

If you haven't already had the opportunity to support the tournament (and even if you have!), there are two avenues that may interest you. All proceeds will go directly to the Skidmore Thoroughbred athletic program.

Check out the online auction featuring tickets to a Mets game and an insider's tour of the stadium; a one-week stay in Kauai, Hawaii, at an oceanfront resort condominium; a foursome at Bayonne; a Sony DVD/VCR player; beautiful jewelry; and much more. Get your bids in online by the end of the day on Wednesday, June 18.
