Panel to focus on rights, responsibilities of speech

?Speech Matters: Theorizing Speech and Responsibility,? a panel discussion on free-speech issues, is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, in Davis Auditorium, Palamountain Hall. Admission is free and open to all.

The discussion will center on recognizing the power and responsible use of speech, according to Mariel Martin, director of student diversity programs. Marin will moderate the discussion. Panelists and their topics are as follows:
