Terence Blanchard returns for week in residence

The Saratogian?s James Lamperetta previewed Terence Blanchard's residency with a feature story in the March 29 edition of the paper.

Blanchard?s week at Skidmore begins Tuesday, March 31. At 4 p.m. on the second floor of Murray-Aikins Dining Hall, he will meet with 23 Skidmore students who?staying at the Katrina Relief Camp in Waveland, Miss., during spring break, contributed to the post-Katrina reconstruction effort. The students have documented that experience, which included rebuilding a house in Bay St. Louis and cleaning up a neglected park in nearby Middletown, Miss. They?ll share their experience and feedback with Blanchard during an informal reception.
