Golden argues in favor of local post offices

Professor of English Catherine J. Golden, in an essay published Nov. 19 in the Albany Times Union, draws on Victorian-era lessons to argue against the U.S. Postal Service's plan to close some post offices in the Capital District. Golden's newest book is Posting It?The Victorian Revolution in Writing (University of Florida Press, 2009).
