West African drum ensemble recital this evening, April 29

April 29, 2010

Come watch the musical talents of West African drumming students of the legendary West African drummer Yacub Addy! His classes will be performing traditional West African rhythms on Ghanaian drums.

The performance is scheduled from 7 to 7:45 p.m. Thursday, April 29, at the beautiful outside amphitheater of the Arthur Zankel Music Center. In case of rain, the alternative location is Beckerman Ensemble Room No. 006 in Zankel.

Come support our students as they display a semester's worth of hard work and talent! Admission is free.
