Tailgate 2010 set for this Saturday

The Skidmore Athletic Department and Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC) will host Tailgate 2010 this Saturday, Oct. 30, from 11:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. in the Williamson Sports Center parking lot. All community members are welcome; admission to all Skidmore athletic events is free.

Volleyball will begin the action at 10 a.m. Saturday, when the team takes on SUNY Cortland in day two of the Skidmore Volleyball Invitational. Volleyball will also face New Paltz at 2 p.m. in the Williamson Sports Center gym. Women's soccer, field hockey, and men's soccer will all be celebrating their senior days on Saturday. Women's soccer will take on Nazareth at noon, field hockey will host Wheaton at 1 p.m., and men's soccer is scheduled to take on Liberty League rival Union at 2:30 p.m. Last, but not least, the crew team will host the Head of the Fish starting at 8 a.m. at Saratoga Lake.

Students are encouraged to join the Skidmore Stampede. The $10 membership includes a t-shirt and free food and drinks at the BBQ. SAAC representatives have been selling shirts all week in Case Center and D-Hall.

Food and drinks will be for sale for $1 for those who aren't members of the Skidmore Stampede.
