December 13, 2010

The fifth annual CTM Photo Contest and the second Student Video Contest prove without a doubt that Skidmore is one creative community.

Nearly 150 photos were entered in the photo contest, which had "Focus on Skidmore" as a theme. Participants were asked to show the value of the Skidmore experience in photographs, by capturing student events, study-abroad experiences, classes, clubs, sports. The only rule: photos must have been taken on Skidmore property, or were required to highlight a Skidmore event elsewhere or abroad.

One prolific student, Calder Wilson '11, captured two prizes in each contest. Max Resnick '11 was a dual winner, taking prizes in both categories of the video contest. And Deirdre (Ryan) Lynch, who works at the Tang, is the first staff winner in the photo contest.
