Drastics get a shout of praise for year of generosity

May 1, 2011

The May 1 edition of The Saratogian carried a letter to the editor from Deborah Garrelts, president of ASPIRe, N.Y., Inc., praising Skidmore's Drastic Measures for the group's generosity over the academic year.

The group presented the second annual "All Pull Together" benefit concert March 31 in the College's Arthur Zankel Music Center. The family-friendly concert nearly filled Zankel's Helen Filene Ladd Concert Hall, and when it was over the Drastics had raised approximately $1,000 for ASPIRe, N.Y., bringing their total donation to the organization for the year to $2,600.
