Dance+ 22 scheduled Sunday at National Museum of Dance
Dancers of all ages and skill levels are
welcome at Dance+ 22.
Skidmore College is a co-sponsor of the 22 nd annual "Dance+" festival, a full day of unique classes scheduled for Sunday, March 25, at the National Museum of Dance.
From 10 a.m. to 5:45 p.m., the festival will feature 20 different classes in ballet, modern, improvisation, jazz, tap, hip hop, Chinese fan dance, Zumba, Pilates, Greek dance, belly dancing, swing & lindy hop, Nia, yoga, and ballet workout. Classes will be offered at the introductory through the advanced level with 16 different teachers. There are specific classes designed for children ranging in age from 7 to 12, teens, adult beginners, and the experienced dancer. Visiting guest artists and area teachers will teach the sessions.
Registration will begin at 9 a.m. Fees at the door are $45 general admission for the full day, $35 for students/senior citizens, $15 per adult class, and $8 for children's classes. There is a special rate of $10 per class or $25 for the day for parents/guardians accompanying children who register.
