July 23, 2014

The Skidmore Summer Art Program presents the 2014 Summer Art Faculty Exhibition on display in the Schick Art Gallery through Friday, Aug. 1. An opening reception—free to the public—is scheduled from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 24, at the gallery.

The Summer Art Program teaching staff comprises both year-round Skidmore College art faculty and visiting artists. The Summer Art Faculty Exhibition is always a lively group exhibit presenting an engaging mix of materials and styles. This year the exhibition features paintings, prints, sculpture, photographs, and ceramics by the following artists: David Bradford, Justin Baker, Terry Conrad, Adam Daily, Katie DeGroot, John Galt, David Gyscek, Victoria Palermo, Emma Powell, Lauren Sandler, and Elizabeth Terhune.

The Schick gallery is located inside the Saisselin Art Building on the Skidmore College campus. Summer hours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the week. Admission is free. On Friday, Aug. 1, the gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. in conjunction with the Skidmore Summer Art Program open house.
