Peg Boyers author of new poetry collection

To Forget Venice (University of Chicago Press, 2014) is the title of the newest collection of poems by Peg Boyers, lecturer in the Department of English and executive director of Salmagundi, the literary magazine published at Skidmore.

According to the publisher’s web site, “The site of several unforgettable years of her adolescence, the place she has returned to more frequently than any other, he city of Venice is both adored and reviled by the speakers in this varied and unconventionally polyphonic work.” This newest book follows two earlier collections, both published by the University of Chicago Press: Hard Bread (2002) and Honey With Tobacco (2007).
