Orchestra readies 34th season

The Skidmore College Orchestra opens its 34th consecutive season at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, in the Arthur Zankel Music Center under the baton of conductor Anthony Holland, associate professor of music. 

The approximately 90-member orchestra will present music of Berlioz, Wagner, Sibelius and Hindemith's amazing "Symphonic Metamorphosis".  

Admission for the Nov.1 concert is $8 adults; $5 seniors, retirees, faculty, and staff; and free for students. The Zankel Music Center is wheelchair accessible and offers listening devices for the hearing impaired.
