Monday, April 18
Sustainability Town Hall Meeting: 6–8 p.m., Ladd 307
To conclude the Conscious College Road Tour Day, Turning Green is hosting a chipotle
dinner on campus in Ladd 307 to bring students together to talk about sustainability
initiatives on campus and brainstorm new ideas. Hosted by Skid Eats.
Tuesday, April 19
Low Impact Dining: All day in Murray-Aikins Dining Hall
Skidmore Dining Services is incorporating more local and sustainable food options
into menu items throughout the day.
FeelGood Earth Dinner/Lecture: 7–8:30 p.m., Gannett Auditorium
FeelGood's Earth Dinner is a community-wide event held in Gannett Auditorium on April
19 at 7 p.m. The club is hosting an Organic Valley farmer, who will discuss local
and organic food production and consumption.
Wednesday, April 20
Beats for Beets: Music and Food at 6 p.m., Skidmore Community Garden
Join the Skidmore Community Garden, S-Reps, and Lively Lucy's for the annual Beats
for Beets fundraiser concert. Music begins around 6 p.m. Local food from 9 Miles East
and other local farms.
Thursday, April 21
The True $ of Di$posability discussion: 5:30–6:30 p.m., Intercultural Center
Join OSDP, the Sustainability Office, and Skidmore professors for a discussion on
the real cost of capitalism, materials, and the depletion of natural resources. Refreshments
will be provided.
Friday, April 22
FeedMore and 9 Miles East Raffle: Noon–3 p.m., Murray-Aikins Dining Hall AtriumStop by the FeedMore and 9 Miles East
table in the dining hall atrium to try some food, and enter into a raffle for the
chance to win a $50 gift card to 9 Miles East pizza.
"Recycled" Chess tournament: 3 p.m., Case Green
Chess club and the Sustainability Reps welcome you to compete for prizes on a giant
chess board made out of recyclable materials.
Saturday, April 23
Earth Day Celebration: Noon–7:30 p.m., South Green
Hosted by SEC, WSPN, Lively Lucy's and EAC an all-day music festival celebrating Mother
Earth.
