Jessyca Dudley '06 recounts time at Skidmore

June 21, 2016

For Jessyca Dudley ’06, Skidmore was an opportunity for drastic change. Switching from a dance major to a women’s studies major, she explored the breadth of academic offerings at Skidmore and found that she loved research. A former Peace Corps public-health worker and teacher in Africa, she is now a program officer for the Joyce Foundation, working to prevent gun violence.

Dudley was recognized at Reunion 2016, receiving the Palamountain Award for Young Alumni Achievement. On the This Is Skidmore podcast, she recounts what brought her to Skidmore, the experience of discovering a new passion, and her journey beyond graduation.
