Skidmore named top-50 Best Value College

Kiplinger’s Personal Finance has once again included Skidmore College on its list of Best Value Colleges for 2017.

Kiplinger’s annual list of institutions includes public, private, and liberal arts colleges, ranking the top 100 in each category. Skidmore ranked in the top-50 Best Value Liberal Arts Colleges, coming in at number 45, and in the top-100 Best Value Colleges, coming in at number 79.

According to Kiplinger, Skidmore and other institutions included on the 2017 lists represent the colleges that provide high-quality academics at a reasonable cost. Other factors include competitiveness, graduation rates, and student indebtedness.
