Campaign Update: Spring 2019
Envision your future. Imagine new possibilities. Make no small plans.
These words are the driving principles behind Creating Our Future: The Campaign for Skidmore. Alumni, parents and friends have contributed more than $182.4 million toward the $200 million goal.
This spring, the Campaign is excited to announce a new co-chair.
Trustee Susan Gottlieb Beckerman ’67 will begin her role on June 1 and join trustee Tom Wilmot ’99, who has been co-chair since 2016.
Beckerman is replacing Nancy W. Hamilton ’77, who was recently named chair-elect of Skidmore’s Board of Trustees.
Beckerman joined the Board of Trustees in 2000. She received the Outstanding Service Award in 2002 and the 50th Reunion Service Award in 2017.
Beckerman currently chairs Skidmore’s 1903 Society, recognizing alumni who have made a gift for three or more consecutive years, or for more recent graduates, those who have given since graduation. She also chairs the Board’s Admissions and Student Affairs Committee and has served as a class fundraising volunteer for almost 50 years.
Beckerman earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Skidmore and a Master of Business Administration from Baruch College.
The 2018-19 giving year closes on May 31. You can help create Skidmore’s future by supporting students and faculty. To learn more about the campaign and its priorities, visit www.skidmore.edu/cof or make your gift at www.skidmore.edu/give.
