CLASSICAL WORLD TREASURE HUNT
PART II

On Sunday, April 11th, we will travel to Boston's Museum of Fine Arts. The Museum contains over 400 items (238 vases, 197 sculptures) from the classical world. In groups of four or five you will spend the first hour locating, identifying and studying two of these items. The remainder of our visit to the Museum will consist of 5-10 minute presentations by each group of one of the items you have selected. In order to prepare for your reports you will search the Perseus database for an item of interest, and conduct research on that object in advance of our trip. Because not every object will be on display, you will select two items to research just in case.
