[Blank Space]
What follows is a thumbnail sketch of
the course, which is appropriate under our modus operandi.
Remember, I will not require you to prepare your reading ahead of
time; rather, we shall approach the text "cold" each time as a group.
Our
reading pace will undoubtedly vary from author to author and month to month.
Thus far I envision three units:
one on Cicero, one on Livy, and one on Apuleius. More units may be
added (and hence more exams), but we shall see how things proceed.
N.B.: If readings are pre-assigned,
you must do them before that class.
