ENDING
Try to leave 15-20 minutes at the end of the three-hour exam and 5-10 minutes at the end of a midterm for checking. Look for spelling and grammatical errors. There may still be time to add something to an earlier response.

DO NOT LEAVE EARLY - EVER. Even if you think you have finished an exam, stay to the end. See if you can find any relevant points to add.

POSTMORTEM
Avoid depressing postmortems with fellow students. There is nothing you can do about it now. There is absolutely no point in punishing yourself, especially if you have more exams to come.

If you have made mistakes in the exam, try to learn from them and think about ways to avoid making them in future exams.
