-To gain specific knowledge of selected works of Greek art and archaeology.
-To use objects and monuments as historical and cultural evidence
inorder to understand the past and its relationship to the present.

work includes class attendance and participation. Participation
means coming to class having done the reading for the day and ready
to engage in discussion. Class work is a requirement, not an option. |

is an optional bus trip to either the Metropolitan Museum in NYC
or the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston on ????. Transportation
and entrance to the Museum will be provided; you will need to provide
for your own meals. |
