Course Requirements:
Midterm Exam: 20%
Final Exam: 30% Short Essays: 10%, 5% each Paper or Project: 25% Class Work: 15% NOTE: Class work includes class attendance and participation. Participation means coming to class having done the reading for the day and ready to engage in discussion as well as responding to short assignments via the web page. Class work is a requirement, not an option.
Disabilities Note:
All students with approved accommodations should give me their memos of semester accommodations by Sept. 15th. It is the student’s responsibility to present this paperwork in a timely fashion and follow up with me regarding those accommodations that require my participation. At least 3 days before each test, students should talk with me to ensure that they will receive their test accommodations.
