PHOTOCOPYING: how to eliminate the black border (and copier jams):

  • Start at Basic Copying Tab
  • Reduce and Enlarge set to auto
  • Paper Supply set to desired paper size (example 8.5 x 11)
  • Go to Image Adjustment Tab
  • Select Original Input, Manual Platen, Custom Size
  • Measure document size and put in dimensions , Hit Save
  • Image Shift, select Auto Size
  • Place document on glass, close handler if possible and press Start.
