Special Academic Experiences

In addition to the First-Year Experience, students engage in numerous high-impact experiences, including summer and academic-year collaborative research with faculty; internships for academic credit and/or pay; service-learning courses; off-campus study, including Skidmore programs in Beijing/Shanghai, London, Paris, and Alcala/Madrid; and more. Each is an opportunity to build mastery in an area of study, add new knowledge and skills, and branch out in unexpected directions.
