The Parsons Dance Company, in residence at Skidmore during June, drew large numbers of students and spectators. Other favorite popular events on campus were public lectures and performances by renowned visitors and faculty of Skidmore’s summer writers’ insititute, theater institute, and studio art programs. And starting this year, enrollees in those summer workshops were able to earn graduate credit through Skidmore’s own external master’s program in liberal studies.
