Heather Martin Fojt and husband Brian welcomed son Tucker to their family on December 21, 2008.
Erika Forster’s band Au Revoir Simone is touring internationally to promote its new album Still Night, Still Light. The Brooklyn-based indie pop band was featured in the April issue of Vogue magazine. Several songs from previous albums were used in episodes of the TV show Grey’s Anatomy.
Sugey Guridy and Eli Zimmer live in Norwalk, CT, where he works in the insurance industry and she in marketing.
After living in Cincinnati for the past two years and working on a successful congressional campaign, Heidi Black is now working on Capitol Hill for Ohio Rep. Steve Driehaus. She is handling scheduling and education policy.
Lani Shufelt began an MBA program at Cornell’s Johnson School. After graduation, she worked in the hospitality industry, starting as reservations supervisor at the Chaner, a small luxury hotel in Newport, RI. She then completed an intensive cuisine and pastry degree and moved to San Francisco to take a job as assistant manager at the Mandarin Oriental.
Mary Spraygren was profiled in recent issues of Roll Call, an online magazine covering Capitol Hill. While working as a lobbyist for the Burlington, VT, chamber of commerce, Mary met State Sen. Peter Welch (D). When Welch won a seat in the US House, he recruited her as his business liaison in Vermont. Mary held that job from 2007 until last February, when she became a legislative assistant in Welch’s Washington, DC, office. She is focusing on business issues in addition to science, appropriations, regulated energy, and telecommunications.
