Go-cart derby
“In the front of the wheeled contraption is the fearless Marc Chusid ’78,” writes Carrie Schillinger Hare ’80, while the helmetless pusher at the back is John “Jeep” Moore ’78. Lots of readers agree on those two. But the middle man is a mystery: Hare and Lisa Lavieri ’79 think he’s Jeff Frary ’80, but Kevin Lally ’79 tags him as Julian Chisolm ’78. In any case, Lavieri and Dorian Ingram Filbert ’78 recall the event as a one-shot soapbox derby among Scribner Village residents in the spring of 1978.
