In the Bronx, NY, Jacqueline Killorin has completed a two-year commitment to Teach For America. She also earned an MA in early childhood education and will be attending Boston University in the fall to pursue an MFA in painting.

After two years as a research and teaching assistant at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, MA, Laura Wittman is in grad school, at Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment. In the summer she interned for the Conservation Fund, a national nonprofit working in land and water conservation, where she authored part of the management plan for a coastal redwood forest in northern California.

Stephanie Drahan completed a graduate certificate in women in politics and public policy from UMass-Boston in May. She recently started a new position as legislative aide to State Rep. Katherine Clark.

Ellen Goldstein earned a master’s degree in spring 2007 and is now working on a PhD in algebraic geometry. She is an associate member of Dance Prism, a ballet company based in West Concord, MA. Ellen adopted two stray cats, Gabby and Holly, a couple of years ago.

Mark Klein is assistant project manager on the development of a high-rise green residential building named The Visionaire in Manhattan. A US Green Building Council–certified and LEED-accredited professional (that’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), he is pursuing a master’s in construction administration from Columbia University and will graduate next May. Occasionally he plays guitar gigs in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

Jason Del Pozzo is business development director at EpiVax Inc., a small biotech company in Providence, RI. He is still traveling for work and is enrolled in the biotech master’s program at URI. In lieu of getting his own dog, he volunteers at the local animal shelter as a dog walker.

I (Kristen) am director of operations for the National Guitar Workshop, a nationwide summer music program for students 14 and up. I oversee marketing and logistics for the company. Since graduating, I have traveled to New Zealand, Ireland, England, Ecuador, and Peru. Both Jason and I are very excited to be the new class secretaries.
