Alums at Ernst & Young encourage Class of 2019 to apply
In September 2017, multinational professional services firm Ernst & Young (EY) recruited through Skidmore's Career Development Center. Driven by Alumni Board Member, Amy Munichiello '94, Director of Talent Development Consulting at EY, recruitment efforts led to three Skidmore hires for EY's competitive Business Advisor Program (BAP). Those hired from the Class of 2018 were Brendan Halloran, Olga Kanyasi, and Amelia Steeger. In addition to applying to EY, each of these young alums attended the CDC's Consulting 101 program featuring alumni from various firms. This year, the program will be held Friday, September 14 and will feature professionals from Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG, Bain, and IBM among others.
One year later, EY is recruiting at Skidmore once more.
"I'm very excited that EY is recruiting at Skidmore again this fall," said Brendan
Halloran '18. "The Business Advisor Program is an ideal position to start in as it
allows you to work on a number of projects, learn a vast amount of information and
ultimately develop long term relationships. EY will provide you with the necessary
tools in order to succeed."
Olga Kanyasi '18 shared her experience at her first job out of college: “Deciding
to work at EY has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. I am constantly challenged
and building on skillsets I never thought I would have the chance to develop. I am
also a fan of the fact that I get to learn more about a ton of different industries
within and also out of financial services.”
Amelia Steeger '18 remembers applying last September. Amelia was a consultant with the Skidmore-Saratoga Consulting Partnership (SSCP), and was excited to have the opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge she acquired during SSCP.

"I chose EY because I believe the work environment will allow me to achieve my goals in a setting I will enjoy," said Amelia.
Skidmore's CDC has listed the Business Advisor Program position on Handshake for current seniors to apply. The position is specific to an advisor program in either Hoboken, NJ or New York City, NY.
