Back by popular demand, Skidmore students are invited to participate in STEM/Healthcare Connect, a career fair for students and alumni to connect with STEM (Science, Technology, Mathematics and Engineering) and healthcare employers, along with graduate schools.  STEM/Healthcare Connect takes place on Thursday, February 7 at the Sage Colleges in Albany.

The event is open to all majors and class years.  Many of the companies have said they are recruiting for jobs and internships, as well. Regeneron Pharmaceuticals is a sponsor of the event and will raffle off a $250 Amazon gift card to one lucky student attendee.

Positions are not posted in advance.  Rather, STEM/Healthcare Connect provides opportunitity to talk with various companies about the opportunities offered.  An on-site interview space is available for employers who want to talk more with students at the event.

Skidmore students are advised to present themselves professionally and to bring numerous copies of their resume to the event.  Students can drop by the event any time between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM.   Additional schools participating include Albany College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences, Siena College, The College of Saint Rose, The Sage Colleges, SUNY Schenectady, University at Albany, and Union College.
