CDC Launches Diversity Organization Series
Join the CDC this week for our Diversity Organization Series, where we will be joined with representatives from organizations
dedicated to increasing diversity in the workforce.
“Membership with one of these organizations can result in rates over 90% for internship or job placement,” said Soha Jafarzade, Sands Family Foundation Assistant Director of Diversity Career Development. “Their members regularly boast increased chances of internships, jobs, and other career goals.”
All sessions will take place 5:30 PM in Room 222 (the Learning Lab) in the library and we will be joined by the following organizations:
Why You Should Attend: The organization works with all undergraduate majors, including STEM and Computer Science. A candidate’s major does not determine eligibility. Rather, MLT considers how well the applicant’s career goals align with Career Prep’s programming. A sample of their many corporate partners include Adobe, Bain & Company, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Facebook, HBO, Nike, and The Walt Disney Company.
Why You Should Attend: The organization works with students with a Major or Career Interest in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering (STEM), Software Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science/MIS, Healthcare, Retail Management and Liberal Arts. InRoads has dozens of corporate partnerships including Alliance Bernstein, Colgate-Palmolive, Johnson & Johnson, JP Morgan & Chase, Pfizer, and Unilever, among many others.
