November 25 is approaching FAST!  This is the deadline to apply for pre-select interviews for Career & Internship Connections, an annual recruiting event attended by students from 16 top schools, including Skidmore.

Here's what you need to know:

• Nearly 100 employers regularly attend CIC each year to connect with prospective employees and interns.  Some companies will participate in pre-select interviews.  For these opportunities,  students must apply to all positions of interest on Handshake by November 25 at 11:55 PM.
• Several interviewing employers are shown in the image above, and it is anticipated more will sign up for pre-select interviews before the November 25 deadline.  The CDC is updating their CIC webpage with any updates as they come in.  Check back often!
• There is a morning career fair portion of the day.  Students do not need to apply to positions in advance to attend the career fair, but they should register.  Many companies will invite morning career fair participants to interview later in the day.
• Skidmore students have been offered competitive jobs and internships through CIC in past years.
• Looking for help to best prepare your resumes and cover letters?

  We encourage all interested students (all class years and majors!) to make appointments with career counselors for resume reviews and interview preparation.  If counseling appointments are not available, take advantage of e-reviews before November 20.  Simply email your materials to careercorps@skidmore.edu, and allow 48 hours for a response.

• Gain inspiration from your peers!  Gabe Rossi '20 (right), who is headed to Santander Bank following commencement, will present at a Peer Power! event on Tuesday, Nov. 19.  Gabe will be joined by other seniors with job offers who will share their tips on resumes, cover letters, interviews, and more. Onsite document reviews will also be available through CDC's Career Corps.  Register here.  Space is limited.
