An immigrant who came to this country from India at the age of 17, D'Souza graduated

from 1987 to 1988. He is currently the Robert and Karen Rishwain Fellow at the Hoover
Institution at Stanford University.
D'Souza has been called one of the "top young public-policy makers in the country"
by Investor's Business Daily. The New York Times Magazine named him one of America's most influential conservative thinkers, and the World
Affairs Council calls him one of the nation's 500 leading authorities on international
issues. Newsweek cited him as one of the country's most prominent Asian-Americans. His long list of
popular books includes the best-selling Illiberal Education, What's So Great About America, The Virtue of Prosperity, The
End of Racism, and Letters to a Young Conservative. He is one of the most sought-after speakers on the college circuit today.
The lecture will be followed by a question-and-answer session. Books and autographs
from the author will be available afterward as well.
