Elzbieta Lepkowska-White, associate professor of marketing, and herthesis student Abby Goldenthal '08 contributed a book chapter titled Learning to Survive in Times of Scrutinized Funding: A Comprehensive Model of Attracting and Satisfying Museum Visitors in the book titled Marketing Management: From Theory to Implementation edited by Cleopatra Veloutsou, and recently published by Atiner: Athens, Greece.

Sandy Baum, professor emerita of economics, was a source for "College not always paying off in this tough job market" on the value of a college degree, for the McClatchy News Service. The story appeared Jan. 21 in The Denver Post and The Kansas City Star.

Ian Berry, Malloy Curator of the Frances Young Tang Teaching Museum, was the subject of a feature story Jan. 28 in theleafchronicle.com, on his new appointment as the Acuff Chair of Excellence at Austin Peay State University, Clarksville, Tenn.

Victor Cahn, professor of English, has written his first novel, titled Romantic Trapezoid, and published by Resource Publications, New York City.

Alison Doyle, associate director of career services, was a source for "Getting Back in Shape for the Job Chase," published Jan. 3 in The New York Times. She also is a career specialist for About.com, owned by the New York Times Co.

The Macroscope, co-written by Jill Linz, senior teaching associate in physics, was reviewed Jan. 24 in The Times Union.

Flip Phillips, associate professor of psychology and director, Neuroscience Program, is the author of a review of the WolframAlpha app for iPhone published Jan. 27 in Computerworld.

Ron Seyb, associate professor of government, was a source for "Professors: Obama wise to shift focus away from health care," published Jan. 28 in The Daily Gazette.

Mary Zeiss Stange, professor of women's studies and religion, is the author of "She tackled the 'male' God" an opinion essay/tribute to the late feminist theologian Mary Daly, published Jan. 25 in USA Today. Daly, a longtime member of the Boston College faculty, died Jan. 3.
